Revenue Integrity System

Revenue Integrity solution enables airlines to monitor and control bookings in terms of revenue leakage. The main purpose of this system is to control "non-revenue” bookings that have a negative impact on flight profitability.

Revenue Integrity System is intended for booking processes control within the airline company. The System allows to detect bookings that decrease company’s revenue from selling transportation and related services.

Main functions of the Revenue Integrity are as follows:

1. Detecting and handling duplicated segments within one PNR.

The function is intended for detecting and handling explicitly and implicitly duplicated segments within a PNR. One such segments should be deleted.

Duplicated segments (DUPE SEG) – active (confirmed) segments within a PNR, which totally or partly coincide by the route, and break the global route integrity.

Explicit duplicated segments – more than one active segment within a PNR, which coincide by departure and arrival points, and break the global route integrity.

Implicit duplicated segments – more than one segment within a PNR, which coincide by departure or arrival points, and break the global route integrity.

Route integrity – consistent row of all route segments (each subsequent segment departs from the city, which the previous segment arrived to), considering a possible ground transportation sector and minimum connection time (MCT) in the landing point.

2. Time limit management.

The function allows to set and manage time limit of transportation tickets and EMDs for special services issuance.

Time limit is a time period within which an agent may issue a ticket for a booked transportation or a EMD for a service. Time limit is also set for segments on waitlist.

Time limit calculation algorithm is defined by an airline.
